Cheezy is a small family bakery in Bizerte. We want the website to work for everyone who wants to see what we bake — including people using a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or a phone with text zoomed up.
This page says what we have actually checked rather than what we would like to claim. Where something is not right yet, it is listed below rather than left for you to discover.
What has been checked
- Every image carries a text description.
- Every button and link can be reached and activated with a keyboard alone, and the focused item is always visibly outlined.
- A “skip to content” link is the first thing a keyboard or screen-reader user meets, so the navigation can be jumped past.
- Animations and motion are switched off automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
- The page declares its language, and switches between English and French properly for assistive software.
- The site works in both light and dark themes, and text stays readable when zoomed.
What is not perfect
Being straight about the known gaps:
- We have not had the site audited by an independent accessibility specialist, so we do not claim formal WCAG 2.1 AA conformance. Saying otherwise without a real audit behind it would be a claim we cannot stand behind.
- Some menu photography carries decorative detail that a text description cannot fully convey. If a description is not enough, please ask us — see below.
- The chat assistant is text-only. It has no voice input or output.
- Parts of the site were tested mainly in recent versions of Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Very old browsers may behave differently.
The assistant, and ordering
The chat assistant on the site is a menu helper. It can read out prices, calories, protein and declared allergens for anything on the menu, and it will say plainly when something is not recorded rather than guess.
Orders are completed over WhatsApp with a real person, so nothing on the site has to be navigated in order to buy something. If the website is difficult for you, message or call us and we will take the order directly.
If something keeps you out
If any part of this site stops you doing what you came to do, please tell us — it is treated as a fault to fix, not feedback to file.

Tell us the page and what happened, and we will reply and fix what we can. If a fix will take time, we will arrange another way for you to get what you needed in the meantime.
